Lady's black straw braided bonnet, "lacey." Very small and shallow crown, with large brim that is longer than it is wide. Small crown is lined with black tarlatan, with back brim turned up with showcase small rosette of black machine bobbin lace. Perhaps a late mourning bonnet, but more likely stylish black. Came with hand-written note that states: "Belonged to Bets Knudson grandmother Bets gave it to Vi (donor's grandmother, Viola White)."Collection
