Oval pin, in shape of a dome, likely of brass. In the center is a large deep red cabochon (glass?) in a collet setting. Wrapped around the cabochon are multiple different chains, large and tiny, primarily twisted. Around the bottom edge of dome is large round link and smaller 1/2 link soldered to surface, finished off with a twisted chain and two chains hang down and join in center. From center hangs a teardrop-shaped dangle, in gilt gold. It is possible the entire pin was once covered in gilt gold but has worn off. Tube hinge and safety catch, likely a replacement. 1 3/16" long. 15/16" wideCollection
