Small beaded purse with top forming two extending flaps which are presently closed with modern-type snaps. 7” chain formed of long and short brass links attached inside top. Sides slant inwards slightly; rounded bottom finished with varicolored bead looped fringe. Flaps have multicolored stripes; One side has wreath enclosing a rainbow and the initials JDS. Other side has rows of florets, garland at bottom, and unintelligible lettering on transparent ground. Lined with coarse PW white cotton; soiled pink silk on flaps. Designs are rather crude.Collection
