Knit or crocheted reticule made of beads with a round bottom. Red silk thread crocheted top with beading for ribbon drawstrings. Lined with what is speculated to be 1930’s machine-stitched maroon silk satin with a pocket for a mirror or compact. The design consists of a building with a belfry and a pump under a tree. The upper border on red ground matches the silk top, of little dogs alternating with little buildings and little bushes. Lower border on red ground of geometric vine and florets. Turquoise intertwined bead loop fringe on the bottom. Opal ground; TR: red, purple, emerald, root beer. OP: aqua, periwinkle, red-brown, Light & dark pink, black, white, medium blue. Cased red. Translucent aqua, turquoise, apple green, chrome green, and maize.
