Equally machine-stitched and hand-stitched women's working dress made of cotton. Appears to have been adapted several times, at home by an amateur seamstress. Gathering across "infant waist" band - some gathering in front but most at sides and center back. The center front closure is of hook and eye at WB and upfront of the bust. Round neckline of medium depth. Pocket in skirt on the right-hand side. Sleeves are long and end gathered to a cuff. MOP button closures at cuff. Buttonholes at the cuff are hand-stitched. Slight gathering at sleeve caps. Some piecing at the center front sides above the waistband. The hem is about 5.5" and machine-stitched. Unlined.Collection
