Description

All silk; pale pink and Windex (!) blue stripes; 3 blue lines at toe; 3 blue lines at top, also inside, holes for drawstring; 23” toe to heel. Underfoot seam, wide toe, curved. The blue is most likely Saxon blue, (indigo dissolved in sulfuric acid) - water soluble. Can’t take a hard laundering. good choice for socks, no?! Dyeing upon alum improved the color fastness.
