Description

Cabinet card of young woman in 3/4 profile. She wears a bodice of silk taffeta with tight sleeves, in a solid color. The plastron front is also silk taffeta but is tartan or a small windowpane check. Buttons down CF. Stand collar filled in with a scalloped-edge necktie. Circular brooch at CF below tie. No earrings or hair dressing ornaments. Bottom of card beneath image in stamped: "C.H. Gallup 292-294-296 Main Street Opposite Garden Poughkeepsie, N.Y." Back of card is blank.
