Woman's day cap of white cotton dimity check with white cotton muslin or lawn ruffles. The brim is cut to fit closely, with extensions at the jaw on either side to hold the ties; there are narrow, embroidered insertions in the seams at the top of the head and at the back. Full, round crown. The ruffle around the face is wider than the ruffle that edges the bottom. Dimity check ties, which seem to be cut off. Hand sewn.Collection
