Description

Entirely hand-stitched infant petticoat made of white cotton. 2 widths form skirt gathered into a 2.5” waistband. Tiny seams. Hem border of 3” eyelet-embroidered scalloped edging added on with 3/4” tuck, perhaps as a replacement for worn hem or merely to extend length. Two 1” tucks above. No fasteners. The back seam is unstitched to the top tuck.
