Hand spun, dyed and knit wool leggings or gaiters, bronzy brown color. Knee to toe, with simple strip of pink glazed cotton as foot strap. Outer sides have 2” wide feather motif, full length.
The attractive design suggests they were worn under skirts, with the strap under the stockinged foot, with open slippers, not boots- perhaps for a cold ride to a party.Collection
