"Pair of fine white cotton machine knit stockings, knee-high. Elaborate openwork design on front of foot and leg, halfway around sides. Square heel, under-foot seam, narrow welt with holes spelling “Paris.” Back seam winds almost completely around to the front. Lacework has decorative band across top and dainty row of hemlock trees... along side of lacework is a double row of satin stitched or brocaded border.
