Hand knit soft white cotton stockings, over the knee - all-around mesh pattern to calf, with arrow design above; zig zag line up the back ‘seam’ - deep decorative cuff with wide border of diamonds and zigzags, a plain band with the intials “AN 1881” worked in red beads, benath a ribbed border topped with diamond openwork border.
