Description

Entirely hand-stitched boy’s skirted suit made of mohair MID. The pattern consists of bright red plaid with green and blue. Jacket (a) - Slightly flared waist-length jacket with coat sleeves. Left breast pocket in the jacket, containing handkerchief. Black velvet-covered buttons: 2 on the cuff, 1 on either side of the pocket, 1 on each side of the vent; 2 at CB; 2 at CF top. Short standing or turnover collar. Skirt (b) - narrow pleat at either side of the center front. Some gather in the back. No fasteners. Handkerchief (c) - small fine cotton with ribbed borders.
