Description

Mostly machine-stitched infant long gown and petticoat set made of cotton. There are machined tucks on the petticoat and skirt of the dress. There is hand-stitching on lace insertion however all the lace is machined-stitched. Long Gown (a) - bodice is a strip of cotton, starched still. There are ties in the back with ties and ribbon. Tightly gathered to the waistband which is hand-embroidered. The skirt is less full than the dress' skirt but does have generous machined tucks at the bottom 3rd of the skirt. Petticoat (b) - The patten on the skirt continues on the petticoat.
