Entirely hand-stitched waistcoat made of ivory silk faille with widely spaced, ivory silk, scattered small embroidered floral sprays. Cut with a slight flare at the hip. 3 pockets. Narrow curved slits. Pointed bottom. Standing collar. White glazed cotton lining with interior left breast pocket, and cotton back. Narrow straps in the back, with one brass eyelet, and twill tape tie. Domed silk thread-covered buttons reach part way to the collar. Overall, appears to stand well away from the chest.Collection
