Description

Entirely hand-stitched waistcoat made of creamy white satin on the front, for the back and lining made of white plain weave cotton. Medium high opening. Shawl collar with slight points. Two level pockets with welts. Single-breasted. 6 small self buttons (Actually some are brocade patterned). Moderately pointed bottom edge. Straight back edge. Straight side seam. Comparatively short-waisted. 2.5” high flaps with 3 pairs of brass eyelets and handwoven black and yellow tape in back. Tambored vine-and-flower motif embroidered along edge of collar, hem, CF opening on each side, and pocket welts in light and medium pink and green silk.
