Description

Entirely hand-stitched waistcoat made of cotton. Straight across bottom, square, and hip length. Thin camleteen. Buff with dark brown, red and pale mauve widely spaced crosswise stripes. Standing ‘shawl’ collar. SB with 10 small self buttons on right side. Wide, level pocket welts on bottom. Plain weave unbleached cotton back and lining. 8.5” flaps with 4 hand-stitched eyelets in back for ties. Deep armscyes. MID fine mohair (very fine scales) weft on cotton warp. Slight rib.
