Description

Entirely hand-stitched waistcoat made of brown figured cotton with two pockets with narrow straight welts. Slightly shaped at waist with curved bottom edge and small gusset below pocket. Back strap with black lacquered buckle on back. Shawl collar is widest at midpoint. Embroidered with white cotton on collar and front edges. Satin stitched floral sprays and white top stitching. Lined and backed with white cotton. No padding. Four tiny ‘waistcoat jewel’ buttons with white glass centers with gold stone marbling set in fluted brass rims. Button have solidly attached shanks, brass backs, and no marks.
