Description

Reticule made of black silk velvet. Cut-corner squared bottom with a flap top. The flap is lined with selvage edges of ivory silk. Narrow black silk drawstrings on either side for closing. The reticule's body is lined with purplish brown glazed cotton, and fitted with a small interior pocket secured with a pointed button flap, and an incised MOP button. The Front has a large spray of roses and buds springing from a base. The reverse has a large spray anchored in a shallow basket surrounded by flowers and leaves. Twisted fringe of opalescent beads along the base.
