Description

Entirely hand-stitched little boy’s waistcoat made of cotton. The front is horizontally striped with narrow bands of red / green on cream with graduated bands of what is now pale pink. The back shoulder and collar facing are pieced green striped mohair. The back and lining are two kinds of coarse cotton, pieced. Small standing collar. Short boxy shape. Pocket welts on the bias, parallel to the straight bottom. 5 simple globular glass buttons with plate backing and a bit of red coloring at the base. No button at the top.
