"Child’s capelet with separate sleeves, entirely hand stitched. Made of scratchy wool or mohair/silk or cotton in black and white plaid, where in one direction the bolder set of black stripes is replaced by maroon with a center stripe of pink twill. a) Cape is 2/3 of a circle with a collar pointed in front, and parted with rounded ‘corners’ in the back. Lined with brown glazed twill cotton. Self bias bound edges. Two bands of narrow olive brown velvet ribbon form a border on the cape and collar. Black elastic thread band and pearl button at neck.b-c) Pair of sleeves to match, fairly narrow, gathered into narrow piped wrist band, closed like neck with elastic thread and pearl button. Lined with brown glazed PW cotton, upper edge bound with cape lining fabric."Collection
