Boy’s suit of white cotton with woven blue windowpane checks, decorated with bands of ecru (once black?) braid stitched with black forming Gothic arabesque scroll pattern around cuffs, hems, up the side of the legs and around the jacket bottom and opening. Unlined. Entirely hand stitched.a) garibaldi or zouave-style jacket with a self band at the neck, secured by a small bone button at each end.b) knee pants with pointed waist yoke front and back. Opens at each side; buttons onto a waist with a concealed buttonholed waistband. Pocket in proper right side.
