Description

Entirely hand-stitched girl’s chemise made of sturdy unbleached cotton. Drawstring through the narrow, somewhat deep round neckline, and drawstring through casing at rather high front waist. Box pleat formed in the back after the neckline was finished, stitched down its center to the waist level. Sleeve tops cut in one with the body with curved underarms, straight long sleeves extended 2” by piecing, butted-selvage-style. Also has 4 short side gores with butted selvages.
