Description

Hand stitched pocket. Long trapezoid. Plainwoven linen tape extending each side. Plainwoven fine linen back (old chemise?). Upper part has tiny berry spot mill print, tossed; lower seems to be a plate print accented with block— with widely spaced bleeding heart and crocus-like sprigs. Upper is black with red and blue/yellow; lower is black and red, with blue threads in selvage (observed by holding it up to a strong light). Front is lined with pieced cottons, one appears homespun.
