Description

Hand-stitched infant nightgown made of thin white cotton. No waist, narrow frilled robings down the entire front. Long body gathered in both the back and front into the wide, fairly open round neckline. Self-bound with drawstring all around. Short straight sleeves with 1/2” hems and sort of inverted jockeys with wavy edges. Hems edged with narrow machine ‘crocheted’ edging. Narrow, long self-sashes anchored at robings. Not anchored at same level therefore may be a later addition.
