Description

Entirely hand stitched fine white cotton. Hip length, straight body (side seams are butted selvages) gathered into neck band finished with a self frill. One 3/8” MOP button and buttonhole. Shoulder seams on top of shoulder, joined by narrow insertion with little bobbles that look like French knots. Dropped piped armscyes; moderately full sleeves gathered slightly into narrow cuffs edged with self frill, closed with small white china button and buttonhole. Upper and lower back sections of each sleeve is pieced. Front and bottom 1” hems, hemstitched. No gussets, gores or reinforcements.
