Description

Entirely machine-stitched 2-piece dress made of cotton. The print is speculated to be Perrotine - triplet circles in tan, red, brown on light ARSENIC* green ground. Top (a) - high round neckline. Opens all the way down and flares to hips. Coat sleeves. Flat pearl buttons to high waist. Shoulder yoke effect formed by applied bias band of tan cotton mounted on slightly wider green band which also appears about the frilled hem. Self frill edged with green cotton. Matching frill on cuff. Skirt (b) - moderate fullness with simple pleats in front and tight gathers in back. Back placket. White cotton waistband with two hooks. Matching tan and green band trim above slightly full self frill at hem. Waistline is pretty large.
