Little boy's deep blue or black velvet bolero jacket. Black Soutache or Russian Braiding down the center front opening and continuing onto the back of four-leaf clovers or Shamrocks with trailing waves below, handsewn on. The center front edge, neckline, and bottom hem are bound in black twill tape. This tape goes across the wrist opening as well, about 2 3/4" above the opening. Round coat sleeves are fully lined with blue and white stripe twill weave cotton. The body of the jacket is lined with a deep greenish / brown wool fabric. The center back hem features two vents on either side. Most likely was paired with a boy's skirt or frock in matching velvet fabric.
