Hand crocheted shawl, made red Berlin wool in an openwork shell pattern. Shaped symmetrically to fit the body, roughly a crescent shape. Black wool forms a wide border band and the fringe is composed of alternating black and red tassels. A rare survivor, dated on basis of the red-with-black border design.Collection
