Description

Mostly machine stitched man’s shirt made of cotton. Gussets above vents and edges of shoulder reinforcements at the armscyes, one butted side seam, one butted seam on each underarm gusset, and the buttonholes are all hand-stitched. Made from traditional square modules including underarm gussets. Square tails with narrow hems beautifully machine-stitched to the outside. Short collar stand, deep linen cuff with buttonhole near base. Moderately full sleeves gathered onto body. Full width shoulder reinforcements with triangular neck reinforcements. Neck placket. Two pearl buttons on collar, side by side. One pearl button on each cuff.
