Description

Entirely hand-stitched shirt made of fine linen. Long, square tails with gussets. Plain front with a deep, finely hemmed opening, finished with sheer lawn finely pleated frills on either side. Deep standing shaped collar. MOP button at the base. The body gathered into neck and triangular gussets. Gusseted sleeves gathered into armscye and gathered into square cuffs having MOP button at the base. Reinforced in one piece across shoulder and armscyes, fairly wide each way. Splendidly top-stitched gusset, cuffs, and collar. The cuffs and collar are still especially starchy. Outstanding workmanship.
