Description

Entirely hand stitched ivory satin slippers, extremely narrow ivory silk ribbon ties. Bound with matching ribbon. No back seams; no heels; straights, extremely square toes. High straight vamp without ornamentation. “11” inked in blue on center sole. Lined with cotton, kid in back, kid inner sole. One has small printed label reading: “Ira Merritt, Ladies’ French SHOEMAKER 158 1/2 Bowery between ---oome and Spring Sts. N.Y.
