Men's waistcoat made of black fine cashmere wool. Figured weave of vertical chains with horizontal ribbing between vertical chains. Single-breasted with four buttons at the center front. Deep shawl collar, and pointed split on the center front hem points. One pocket on each breast above the hem, but no breast pocket. Backed and lined with black wool sateen fabric. The center back strap is buckled. Two darts shape the bottom half of each breast on either side. The depth of the shawl collar indicates that this was worn in the evening, but not with 'White Tie'.Collection
