Made of handmade cardboard, hand-stitched together. No marks. Covered with wallpaper, applied horizontally, having a broad arabesque stripe in shades of rich green (speculated to be arsenic green) on either side of a pair of twisted knobby vines bearing green leaves, blue and red flowers, separated by a narrow green border. The box contains a layer of slightly lustrous pale peach-colored tissue, evidence of crumbled tulle, and a modern pearl-headed straight pin in the bottom.Collection
