Description

Pair of women's boots of black leather and black patent leather, lined with white cotton twill. Black leather top, holding 14 buttonholes to match black glass buttons (a few missing); stitch marks show where buttons were moved in to allow for a larger foot. Patent leather vamp/quarter, with tooled toe cap. Rounded toe; curved-last sole, coated or stained black (but worn away on ball and heel); stacked heel. "D. ARMSTRONG & CO. / ROCHESTER, N.Y." label sewn inside both at top facing.
