A carved cameo of a woman, there is a dark substance in a number of the cuts indicating her hair. The finding holding the cameo is decorated along the edges with lines making square boxes. Rose gold or yellow gold? The pin stem is soldered to the backing. On the back faintly visible, is a script capital C. The pin stem has spirals in the middle to give added hold in the fabric. Pin may be gold or gold-filled backing to hold the rectangular shell cameo. Pin is 2 1/2" long headpiece is 5/16" wide by 1/2" tall.Collection
