Black and white photograph of three soldiers from Ross Field Balloon School in army uniforms hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains above Arcadia, California circa 1918. The soldiers are seen in the distance on the trail and coming around a corner of the hill. The individual in the center could possibly be a woman hiking with the group. Faces cannot really be seen at all. The photo appears rather dark and it is a hazy day.
