B/W photograph, with a white border, of the entrance to Parker Lyon's Pony Express Museum in Arcadia, California in c1939. A woman is seen outside the entrance in a black dress, a white hat and carrying her white handbag. She is standing next to a wooden deer. The bottom border has "At Arcadia, California" in pencil. Parker Lyons collected over a million pieces of western memorabilia and displayed them in several buildings in six acres at the corner of Huntington Drive and Colorado Blvd in Arcadia. The museum was sold in 1955 and moved to Reno, Nevada and the collection has since been broken up and sold to private investors.
