Photograph with a white border of Parker Lyon's Pony Express Museum in Arcadia, California in c1939. A man in a dark suit and white hat is seen standing on the corner of a split rail fence outside of one of the buildings at the Pony Express Museum. A totem pole is seen in the background. Parker Lyons collected over a million pieces of western memorabilia and displayed them in several buildings in six acres at the corner of Huntington Drive and Colorado Blvd in Arcadia. In 1955 the museum was sold in and moved to Reno, Nevada. The collection has since been broken up and sold to private investors.
