Context

The official national outfitter of the Girl Scouts of America was the Sigmund Eisner Company in Red Bank, New Jersey. Girls could also purchase ready to sew uniform kits, or the official khaki fabric, sewing patterns and buttons (which were loaned with a deposit of 25 cents rather than purchased.) Proficiency badges were 15 cents each on the 1919 Girl Scout price list.
