1919-1928 Uniform- SkirtContext
The earliest Girl Scout uniforms manufactured in 1914 were available in navy or khaki. By 1919 the official uniform was only available in khaki, as it was better suited for hiking, camping, and service work. The uniforms sold from 1919 to 1928 included a choice of a button down coat dress or a short coat and skirt, with bloomers available to be worn in a camp setting. The uniforms had metal buttons stamped with the Girl Scout emblem and were accessorized with a belt, neckerchief, and a felt or round khaki hat. The long coatdress could be ordered for $3.65, and the short coat and skirt combination cost a total of $6.10.Made/Created
