Scope and Content

This flag is thought to be a type of Mothers' Flag. It was found in the basement of the Police Station and thought at the time to be of Wold War II Vintage. Examination of the stitching suggests that it may be newer than that. Attached is a general explanation of the practice of making Mothers' flags.
