Robbins House, a Pivotal Structure, is located at 780 Ivy Avenue. This house was built in 1868 by Dr. Samuel Robbins in the French Renaissance Revival style. This house is said to be the first in Glendale with a mansard style roof. Dr. Robbins , who was credited with building other early village houses, unfortunately died before this one was completed. Clarence and Vera Tazwell owned the house from 1949-June 1965
