Scope and Content

The Gordon House, located at 60 Sharon Avenue East, is a Pivotal Structure. Reportedly built by Thomas Gordon c. 1867. Failing to find a buyer, he, his family and Irish woodworkers he employed in his contracting business moved in. However, the Titus Map of 1869 identifies Charles Lundy as the owner. This house was built in the French Rennaissance style with mansard roof. Except for the removal of the front porch, the house is not much changed on the outside.
