The Packer Building, located at 11 Village Square, is a Pivotal Structure.
This building was originally built to house William Lehrer's General Store. This building replaces the original wooden structure which was destroyed by fire.
A large one story addition was added during its history but the original gable roofed two story building still shows. Other business which have occupied the building are a drugstore, Newton Foods and Nippert & Nippert Law Firm. In 2008, the building was completely renovated with plans for adding a bed and breakfast upstairs and a commercial business on the first floor.
