Details history of the Holy Rood Cemetery which was located at the corner of Church and Washington Streets. It was the burying ground of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church.
History of the Hard Shell Baptist Churchyard which was said to be located at the current site of 20 Erie Avenue. The original log church was located at the current site of 970 Congress Avenue. The preacher is said to have kept a saloon on the site of the old Cook House at 969 Congress Avenue.
