The Benjamin Poor House, a Contributing Structure, is located at 795 Greenville Avenue. Land was originally part of D. Finney property. By 1883, it was part of the McLaren property. In 1940, it was purchased from the Glendale Building & Loan Association who likely acquired it thru foreclosure during the Great Depression.Source: Comprehensive Survey Report One of a trio of houses said to have been built for three sisters. The trio of houses is also known as "Rat Row".
