Scope and Content

The building, located at 30 Village Square, is a Contributing Structure. It originally was built as a Livery Stable owned by A.J. Meagher. In 1927 it was purchased by the Village using funds provided by the estate of John J. Burchenal. It was then converted to the Glendale Service Building. During the late 1990s it was renovated and original elements were added based on old photographs. Since that time the building has housed the Village Office and the Post Office.
