This house, formerly located at 550 Albion Avenue was torn down sometime in the 1950s. It was known as "The Oaks".It was originally the home of William Alexander Procter and Charlotte Jackson Procter and their five children. Bessie, who was the youngest, and her husband, Ralph Rogan, moved into the house after their marriage.
An oral history recorded by Rachel Schmid of Laura Dunlap, in 2005 says "Carruther's daughter had a wedding reception there and next day it was torn down".Lexicon
