Invitation with original mailing envelope dated 1898. Invitation invited Miss Mary Looker and Company to the "First Grand Ball, given by the Glendale Base Ball Club to be held at the Glendale Town Hall, Wednesday, October 12, 1898." The invitation was donated by Nancy Cook Grunkemeyer whose mother, Inez Serena Looker was Mary Minerva Looker's sister. Grandparents were Joseph Hall and Sarah Thornton Looker.
